Director, Founder
Specialization: Pattern Recognition, Natural Language Processing, POES (predicate oriented English speaking)
Dr. Byeongyong Kim has made significant contributions to the fields of linguistics and social research. His work focuses on advancing theories such as EN (English Normed), the Definition of Predicate as Topic Carrier (TC), Utilization, QI (Question Indicator), English Vowel Groups, ICV (International Cardinal Vowel), and PPK (POES Pronunciation Key).
Dr. Kim previously served as a professor and President of a university in the Republic of Korea (R.O.K.), where he addressed both the strengths and weaknesses of societal attitudes toward social matters. After stepping down from his presidency, he dedicated himself to solving lifelong questions about social issues. To pursue these goals, he founded the Sociom Research Center, focusing on research into Social Axiom (Sociom) and related inquiries.
In addition to his sociological research, Dr. Kim has contributed to the study of the English language. His book, Standard Rules of Everyday English, was published in 2020. He continues to critique and improve upon traditional grammar frameworks, identifying flaws in T-PEGD (Traditional Prescriptive English Grammar Description). To address these issues, he proposed a groundbreaking new model of English grammar, POES (Predicate-Oriented English Speaking). This model offers a more sustainable, consistent, and realistic approach to English grammar, aligning with everyday usage and addressing the limitations of T-PEGD.
